We are looking for 2  enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 2 Therapy Support Workers to join our Stroke, Rehabilitation and Early Supported Discharge Team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. This role is based at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.

There is both a full time and a part time position available. 

 

Main duties of the job

The roles forms part of a team of generic Therapy Support Workers who currently work between the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy and the Speech and Language Therapy team.  The role includes delivering therapy to patients, supporting the qualified therapists as well as administration and housekeeping tasks.

The post holder needs to be flexible, have good time management skills, confident IT skills, and work well in a team as well as independently.

We are delighted to be able to offer patients who have had a stroke the opportunity of assessment and treatment over the weekend and Bank Holidays and this post holder would be expected to participate in the 7-day working rota for this.
