Job overview

You will support the Cyber Security Manager in establishing a vision and roadmap for the development and improvement of the Trusts Cyber Security posture to underpin the Trust’s Digital Transformation journey.

The Cyber Security Team Leader will lead the Trust’s Cyber Security Team and is responsible for leading and develop all aspects of Cyber Security within the Trust. The role is responsible for assuring the safety of patient and corporate data through the implementation of robust architecture, security standards, policies, processes and technology to understand, mitigate and manage security threats.

Main duties of the job

Lead the cyber security function across the Trust to ensure consistent and high-quality information security management in support of the system goals.
Determine the cyber security approach and operating model in consultation with the Cyber Security Manager and other stakeholders, aligned with the risk management approach and compliance monitoring of non-digital risk areas.
Develop a cyber security vision and strategy that is aligned to the Trusts priorities and enables and facilitates the system objectives and ensure senior buy-in and mandate.
Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive cyber security program to ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, privacy and recovery of information assets owned, controlled or/and processed by the organization.
