Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Surgical Centre Management Team. The post holder will support the Endoscopy Coordinator and the wider management team to ensure the smooth delivery of a quality patient focused service.

Working as part of a team whilst supporting the Endoscopy Coordinator, you must be flexible and adaptable to a varied and high volume workload.  As well as this, you must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.

You must be numerate and methodical with accuracy and attention to detail being of vital importance.  You must have good organisation skills and the ability to work on your own initiative is essential as is experience of working with Microsoft Office programmes.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the Surgical Coordinators and the wider management team to ensure the smooth delivery of a quality patient focused service.
The post holder will work with the Surgical Coordinators within the Surgical Centre, as well as corporately with all Trust employees in delivering the Trust’s overall strategic objectives.
The post holder will work with the management team to ensure consistent delivery of required KPI standards associated with JAG and the wider Endoscopy standards.

You will be based at the The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital within the Surgical Centre, supporting our team of Operations Managers in order to ensure the smooth delivery of a quality patient focused service.
