The Antenatal and Postnatal ward  at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford are  looking to recruit a Housekeeper. The role involves ensuring the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. The successful applicant will be involved in stock ordering and distribution.  They will be involved in the preparation of meals for those who use our service and ensuring the kitchen area on the ward is maintained in line with national and local guidelines.

 

Main duties of the job

 

The ideal applicant will have IT skills to enable use of the trust Oracle ordering system. They will be punctual, reliable and able to work as part of a team.

The post holder is responsible for ordering non-clinical supplies, cleaning, catering, and other tasks that help to create a suitable environment to deliver high quality care in.                                                  

The post holder will report to the Ward Manager  with any maintenance faults or issues preventing a suitable environment being maintained.
