Job overview

The post holder is responsible for supporting the Patient Access Manager in the delivery of the Access Policy and ensuring that all patients are treated within national and local targets. To support with the elective recovery assurance plan ensuring that validation targets of patients on RTT pathways are met.  

The post holder will provide support to ensure the successful implementation of  programmes and projects in particular EPR CareFlow and future upgrades and integrations. 

Main duties of the job

To ensure that all patients care, and treatment is scheduled to be undertaken in a timely manner and in accordance with national and local standards.
To support with the delivery of the trust’s elective recovery plan, by leading on elective waiting list validation.
To lead the clinical centres ensuring effective management of waiting lists. 
Efficiently and effectively co-ordinate the flow of information to ensure there is effective co-operation between departments and service delivery units across the whole patient pathway.
To ensure that the pathway of each individual patient is managed; monitoring their progress and ensuring timely intervention is achieved.
Work closely with the Patient Access Manager, and service managers to ensure that EPR is integrated effectively and efficiently with in the teams and relevant managers within the Centre for projects requiring service improvement/development within the Centre, and aligning with Trust and Care Group priorities, regularly reporting on progress and issues related to current projects.
