We support a contemporary Radiotherapy Service and have recently implemented a number of key service improvements including AI auto-contouring and surface-guided radiotherapy.

We are currently building a fourth bunker and expect to install a new machine early in 2025. We are aiming to upgrade both our patient management system and treatment planning system in 2025 with various initiatives to improve both the efficiency and quality of our processes and treatments.

We have a growing SABR program and are committed to improving the access to these techniques for our patients.

Main duties of the job

As part of the Dosimetrist team you will be responsible for supporting treatment planning and mould room services. This will include routine treatment planning of a variety of treatment sites and fabrication of patient immobilisation devices. You will be expected to support future developments of the department, including quality/service and process improvement initiatives, and participate in appropriate CPD/training.
