Job Overview

This post will join an existing team of dietitians within the Trust  and will provide this new service to antenatal patients with diabetes as part of the Saving Babies Lives initiative.

This post will be supporting the new dietetic service in antenatal diabetes in clinics,  MDT and with training and education programmes .

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will work with the MDT within antenatal services providing dietetic support to patients who have  Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes.  Part of this role will be to hold outpatient clinics as well as providing structured education programmes. 

There will be senior support from dietetic colleagues in the paediatric diabetes team.

Close working with the MDT will be essential in developing this service
