We are looking to appoint a Senior Pharmacy Technician who is interested in working within Aseptic Services and Outsourcing services.

The successful applicant will have post registration experience as a Pharmacy Technician along with excellent organisational skills.

We are a very friendly team and have great working relationships with the clinicians and nursing staff within cancer services.

Main duties of the job

The role will be challenging and will involve supporting the lead oncology pharmacist, oncology/haematology team and aseptic team in sustaining
and developing the systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) service.


You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council and ideally have experience in Aseptic Services.
You must be an excellent team player who is flexible and self-motivated to enhance our SACT team . You will have a professional outlook and be
able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.


The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Experience of staff management/supervision


The successful candidate will be expected to operational manage the provision of SACT on a daily basis with particular emphasis on sustaining
and developing the outsourced chemotherapy model. There will be regular opportunity to contribute to service development

The post holder will collaborate with Quality Control Staff to ensure high standards of practice and adherence to quality management systems.
